These four poems, like A Moment of Silence, were originally written for the Get Comfortable poetry challenge on Vocal. They each explore a very different idea of comfort, from the peace of knowing your memory will live on to the simple pleasure of cooking for those you love, the easy contentment that forms in a mature relationship to the relief that follows the discovery of a successful medication regimen.
